Additive manufacturing newcomer, Tritone Technologies has announced the launch of its Tritone DOMINANT metal 3D printing system ahead of its debut at Formnext later this month.
Founded in 2017, the Israel-based company says its additive manufacturing technology will accelerate the shift from prototyping to mass production for metal printed parts with fine details and high surface finish, particularly in areas such as aerospace, automotive, healthcare and consumer electronics.
Though few details have been revealed about the technology so far, Tritone promises a wide choice of materials from titanium to ceramics, which visitors will be able to get a closer look at during the Frankfurt event, throughput in excess of 1000 cc/hr, a powderless environment using sealed material cartridges, and real time verification and quality control of each layer.
“Our propriety technology is a game changer for the AM industry. Tritone’s solution can facilitate any shape, design and complexity for fast go-to-market industrial production,” says Omer Sagi, VP Products and Business Development at Tritone. “The market is ready to shift gear from prototyping to mass production of high- quality metal parts, and we are proud to be at the forefront of this emerging revolution”.
Tritone will be showing the machine for the first time at Formnext on booth 12.0 B72 from 19-22 November at Messe Frankfurt.
