A new range of color lines in the extended range featuring significant improvements in lightfastness and heat resistance. The first of its kind is strong black, which offers unprecedented possibilities for using 3D printed polyamide components as interior components.

“Even the finest textures, such as leather patterns, can be processed with our new Car Black X, thanks to the DeepDye Coloring (DDC) process commonly used in the DM60, while retaining all the details. Like any of our other colors, the car Black X can be used with non-contact ink cartridges. Since black is the most important color in automotive interiors, we chose black as the color of the car.

Basic black with DYEMANSION (DM Black 01)

Automotive Black X was developed in three consecutive cycles according to the thermal exposure standard of Method 3 of ISO EN 105 B06. Test results for EOS PA1101, EOS PA2200, and PA12 HP 3D HDR are available in the technical white paper. You can request a technical white paper directly from DyeMansion. DyeMansion's basic black DM Black 01 achieves a deep black tone and has been perfectly adapted for most applications such as eyewear or medical equipment, providing adequate lightfastness compared to other dyeing methods available on the market. In contrast, the new car Black X has a slightly lower black saturation and is characterized by excellent light and heat resistance.

Neon The ColorsX range includes four colors: green X, yellow X, orange X and pink X. The brightness of the neon color can be embellished with any application and directly reflected in the black light background. Neon and Car ColorsX are compatible with DyeMansion's two surface treatment processes: PolyShot Surfacing

(PSS) and VaporFuse Surfacing (VFS). In addition, DyeMansion offers custom color development services for the ColorsX family. Only neon colors can be used with white base materials.

ABOUT DEEPDYE COLORING (DDC)

With the launch of the DyeMansion ColorsX series, this coloring process, established in 2015 and used by more than 600 customers worldwide, is finally known: DeepDye Coloring (DDC). It is characterized by unconstrained geometry, unlimited color selection and quick access to more than 170 RAL colours. The DDC process is non-contact, ensuring excellent cleanliness and easy control and tracking with integrated RFID technology. In particular, it can be combined with the widely used PolyShot Surfacing process for cost-effective end part processing.
